Mentorship for young men, 14-18 years old

I support young men through the transition into greater independence and self-discovery. My approach is rooted in the knowing that every young man is inherently good and complete. By providing a deep sense of acknowledgment and belief, I have seen meaningful and inspiring growth.

My work emphasizes tangible presence – being grounded, attuned, curious, and non-judgmental – as a transformative intervention. This presence serves as a catalyst for individuals to reconnect with their direct experience, unlocking their innate insight, strength, and wisdom.

Teenagers seek this support to navigate the metamorphosis inherent in this life stage. It offers an opportunity for a 'second pass' at belief systems and agreements, allowing a direct exploration of how we experience and engage with life.

This mentorship is ideal for young men with a real interest in personal growth and is also low-stakes and accessible. It is okay and common for young men to be skeptical about having someone new to talk to. This mentorship is supposed to helpful, not annoying — and while a nudge can be helpful at the beginning, young men continue to work with me because they find it helpful and they want to.

Logistics: For parents interested in me working with their son, the first step is to send me an email so we can find a time to connect. Mentorship sessions are 1-hour, $125 USD, and take place on FaceTime or Zoom. For young men 18+, check out EFT.

I really enjoyed working with you and your thoughts. For me it was mostly about getting to know myself better and working with you made me realize some things I hadn’t put thought into before and made me more self aware of how to handle stressful situations. Since we worked together I feel I have become the better version of myself and I also surprisingly have started to enjoy my own company a lot and do not rely on others for the appreciation that I thought I needed. Meditation and mindful thinking come into play almost every day and you helped me get there. I didn’t think meditation was really for me but I found it helpful to sit for even 5 minutes and try and focus on my breathing and the things around me with my eyes open to get me more grounded with my surroundings. I really enjoyed our time together and I could not recommend it more to anyone else who is thinking about starting sessions with you. I really appreciate you as a friend and a mentor Dorian. -18 yr. old
